Abstract: This session will explain and demonstrate how the Broadband Infrastructure Improvement Grant works and how schools and districts can participate if they are seeking to build new fiber connections to their premises. The program is offered by the State Department of Education and requires participation in the E-rate program, so this session will touch on an overview of the annual E-rate timeline so that attendees understand the breadth of the commitment to these projects. This session is intended for users of all skill levels. This session could be either 45 or 90 minutes.
