Amanda earned a BA in English from UMUC: Europe and a MAT in Secondary Education from Sierra Nevada University. She was the 2022 recipient of IDLA's "Innovation Award" and has played various roles in the world of online education since 2007 including student, teacher, program coordinator, and content developer. Currently, she is a member of the Content Team and serves as the Poetry Out Loud Coordinator for IDLA.
