Dr. Heather Wenzler

Wenzler Education Consulting
Owner/Consultant
Boise, Idaho
I have been a successful classroom teacher and hybrid learning course developer for over 18 years and I have a deep devotion to and passion for the education field.
My passion is to teach and inspire other educators in the use and integration of technology in the classroom as well as the use of technology to collect and analyze data to inform instruction. Working as an independent consultant gives me the perfect opportunity to share that passion with my fellow educators.

Currently, I am a Professional Learning Specialist with NCCE (Northwest Council for Computer Education), supporting school districts, higher education, and healthcare institutions across the country. I help to raise awareness and heighten desire for both Microsoft's and Google education offerings; I execute hands-on training experiences for educators, administrators, clerical staff; and I contribute significantly to projects and success plans highlighting the benefits of various vetted edtech tools.

I hold 2 current teaching credentials (K-8 Multiple Subjects, 9-12 English) and in 2017 successfully defended my doctoral dissertation entitled The Flipped Classroom Model and Academic Achievement: A Pre and Posttest Comparison Groups Study published in 2017 https://eric.ed.gov/?)id=ED578367. I am a Microsoft Certified Educator, Office Specialist - Word 2019, Google certified Educator Levels 1 and 2, and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, past Fellow, and Master Trainer.

Although I was born here in the US, I am a British citizen: my family hails from Liverpool, England and most weekends (and some weekdays!) you’ll find me cheering on my favorite football team, Liverpool Football Club (go REDS!).
